I am getting ready to get back to C25k and I am looking for some music to keep me pumped and going! What's on your iPod these days? I am looking for songs that are up beat and motivating!!! Any ideas would be GREAT!

I like a huge variety of music, so pretty much anything is likely to end up on one of my running mixes. Some of my recent favorites:
ReplyDelete- Florence & the Machine, "Dog Days are Over"
- Belle & Sebastian, "White Collar Boy"
- Talking Heads, "A Clean Break (Let's Work) [Live]"
- Paul McCartney and Wings, "Get Back"
- Good Charlotte, "Riot Girl"
Pretty diverse, I'd say! But I like anything with a good beat to run along with!
Thanks Mary! I love Dog Days are Over!!! That's a GREAT tune!!!
ReplyDeletei have erasure, madonna, and rupaul on my ipod along with tons of disco from the 70s, anything to get me ass shakin!
ReplyDeleteI can't help you and am curious what others come up with. I just got my first mp3 player and the only thing I have on it is Amos Lee who's more folk. Love him though! Rawr rawr, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI have an odd taste in music so what I like usually no one else does :).
Of the list above I only recognize McCartneys. Yes, I am a pathetic NPR junkie so music is like HUH?
A better question would be "what isn't on your iPod?"!! Favorites (right now) that keep me moving (running or cardio) are: JLO's "On the Floor", Lady Gaga's "Born This Way", Taio Cruz "Dynamite" and "Higher", Katy Perry's "California Gurls" and "Firework", Enrique Iglesias "Tonight". I have a whole other set for lifting and strongman training (metal mostly) and for spinning (techno)!
ReplyDeleteAwesome suggestions all! Thank you! Love Lady Gaga, Enrique, Madonna, and Wings!!!! When I update my list I'll post it!!!
